Brigitte Delaurier began her nursing career in critical care after graduating from the University of Windsor in 2007. Over the next 17 years, she built extensive expertise in high‑acuity environments, working in intensive care units across multiple clinical settings. During this time, she completed her Master of Nursing at Toronto Metropolitan University in 2018 and went on to serve as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in intensive care, where she supported complex patient populations and contributed to evidence‑based practice.

In 2024, Brigitte completed her Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner certificate, expanding her scope of practice and clinical leadership. She transitioned into a full‑time Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner role in October 2024, where she now provides advanced assessment, collaborative management, and ongoing support for patients with neurological conditions.

Across nearly two decades in healthcare, Brigitte’s work has been grounded in a consistent commitment to patient‑ and family‑centred care. She describes her career as both challenging and deeply rewarding, and continues to find meaningful fulfillment in supporting patients through some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
